The French Restaurant is situated in the right wing of the Municipal House and no wonder it is named as the most beautiful Art Noveau restaurant in the world. The restaurant has kept to its original historic architectural details. Wooden booths divide guests, original tables and floors, allegoric pictures by Wenig called Prague welcomes its visitors, Hop growing and Vine growing are the most interesting parts of the furnishings and equipment. The original wallpaper was discovered and renovated in the upper part of the restaurant. Chandeliers and lights by Anýž and the Art Noveau clock were also renovated from original.
The French restaurant is highly praised by gourmets and experts for its quality cuisine and unrepeatable atmosphere. The restaurant provides an ideal space for holding dinners for up to 320 people, gala-evenings for 150 people, buffet style events for up to 400 people.
Our professional team of cooks is lead by the chef Jiří Král and has three other members of the Czech National Team of Cooks and Pastry Cooks. All of them have gained experience all over the world and belong to the top of gastronomy.
